TERMS OF USE

By using our website or scheduling any appointment with us, you accept all of our policies and agree to abide by them.

Accepted Forms of payment

We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, SpaWish, and Spafinder.

GENERAL

Lockers are provided for personal belongings, but we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged belongings. Persons not receiving spa treatments must remain in the retail boutique. 

CLIENT PERMISSIONS

If you are a minor, under the age of 18, and are receiving any treatment(s) you will need to fill out a minor consent form.

To ensure that Skin Sense provides the appropriate treatment to each of our pregnant clients (must be 12+ weeks), we ask that you fill out our Pregnancy Consent forms.

If you are under the care of an oncologist, please provide a medical clearance note or form from your doctor upon arriving for your treatment.

SCHEDULING

You can schedule your Skin Sense appointment at your convenience over the phone or online. All you need is a credit card, and our Appointment Coordinators will help you do the rest; call 919.870.0700. 

When scheduling your treatment, you may request a therapist by name, or request a male or female therapist if you can a preference. All of our therapists, no matter their gender, are true professionals and provide treatments that we feel confident you will enjoy.

To ensure availability of your next visit with us, we suggest you schedule your next appointment before leaving the spa after your treatment. To schedule your appointment online for the first time, please visit www.skinsense.com to create an online account. When you have logged in to our website, please click the “online booking” icon and simply follow the instructions. By scheduling your appointment at checkout or online, you receive Relax & Reward points!

CANCELLATION

A credit card is required to reserve your appointment. Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance; notices received less than 24 hours in advance will result in a charge to your credit card for the full treatment fee. Due to the high volume of reservations, we strictly adhere to our policy.

ARRIVAL 

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your appointment to get changed, shower, relax in our wonderful Eucalyptus steam room, or take tea in our relaxation lounge. If you have a gift card, please bring it with you; it must be presented upon arrival at our front desk. Arriving late may result in a shortened appointment to prevent delays for other guests, however, the full fee will be charged.

CHILDREN

To ensure the utmost service quality and relaxation, please do not bring your children with you unless they will also receive treatments. Minimum age for bodyworks is 18 unless accompanied by a signed permission, parent or guardian.

REFUNDS

Gift card purchases are non-refundable. Retail returns to the spa boutique within 7 days from purchase will be gladly refunded. Receipts must be present. If paid in cash, a check will be sent in the mail. If paid by credit/debit, your card will be reimbursed for the amount.

CELL PHONE POLICY

In order to provide a relaxing experience for all of our guests, we ask that you turn off all phones and leave them in your locker.

GRATUITY

As in most service establishments, gratuity is appropriate, generally from 18%-20% depending on how wonderful your experience was. An 18% will automatically be added for groups of four or more.

GIFT CARD

Your gift card cannot be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for cash. The value will not be replaced if it is lost, stolen, or destroyed.
